Living With Diabetes Can Give You Some Insecurities

Living with diabetes can give you some insecurities?

However, it’s important to know that insecurity isn’t a diagnosis or a fixed way of thinking. It’s a sneaky game our minds can play on us but fortunately,

WE CAN OVERCOME IT?

There are two ways to look at it; either let the negative thoughts consume you or find a way to show your brain how awesome you really are!

This is Eric. He’s totally my dude and the one that makes my heart shine ✨

When I first got my pumper, I was self conscious about where to hide my pump or my CGM and I hated the bruises and rashes that lined my body. When Eric saw me for the first time after getting my pump, he said I was even more beautiful because these were the things that made me who I am. I wouldn’t be me without my diabetes.

I learned to love my pump and all my robo parts because they kept me healthy and allowed me to live my life more fully. With one comment, I had a simple switch in my mindset and now I wear my robo parts with pride ??

I’m here to spread the message that you are STRONG and you are BEAUTIFUL with your diabetes. And if I’m the first one to tell you that then I hope it’s the switch you need to see what I see in you❤️
