Living With Diabetes Can Give You Some Insecurities

Living with diabetes can give you some insecurities🌀

However, it’s important to know that insecurity isn’t a diagnosis or a fixed way of thinking. It’s a sneaky game our minds can play on us but fortunately,

WE CAN OVERCOME IT👊

There are two ways to look at it; either let the negative thoughts consume you or find a way to show your brain how awesome you really are!

This is Eric. He’s totally my dude and the one that makes my heart shine ✨

When I first got my pumper, I was self conscious about where to hide my pump or my CGM and I hated the bruises and rashes that lined my body. When Eric saw me for the first time after getting my pump, he said I was even more beautiful because these were the things that made me who I am. I wouldn’t be me without my diabetes.

I learned to love my pump and all my robo parts because they kept me healthy and allowed me to live my life more fully. With one comment, I had a simple switch in my mindset and now I wear my robo parts with pride 🤖😊

I’m here to spread the message that you are STRONG and you are BEAUTIFUL with your diabetes. And if I’m the first one to tell you that then I hope it’s the switch you need to see what I see in you❤️
